Denizli's popular site Pamukkale is a must see natural thermal water source and a unique in the world with its calcium cascade terraces of snow white stalactites  ( formed of calcium rocks deposited by dripping water).

Pamukkale is located to the south central of the Aegean region of Turkey. Aegean Coastal plain has mild climate, warm winters, springs and hot summers. Inland part of Aegean region is cooler than seaside. Pamukkale is a tourist attraction and in total about 1077 ha ( 4.16 sq m )


Best time to visit Pamukkale is around February to April. Autumn can be considered as the crowds are lesser during this period. The water of Pamukkale is famous for its benefits to the eyes and skin; and its curing properties to the ills of asthma, rheumatism , as well.
